Mrs. Bherer has 20 years of progressive Human Resources (HR) experience, working for large organizations and developing HR systems and processes to align teams with corporate goals supporting periods of extensive growth. Prior to joining Avenue Living as Chief People Officer (CPO), she worked for a large private construction company leading a national team focused on partnering with the business to support operations as well as talent acquisition and development.

The People and Culture team is responsible for all aspects of HR, with a focus on delivering a positive and engaging employee experience. Mrs. Bherer obtained her Bachelor of Management degree, majoring in HR, from the University of Lethbridge.
